Description
My name is Betty Shereed L, and I am a female support worker with a passion for helping others. With several years of experience under my belt, I have had the privilege of caring for individuals with a range of conditions, including Mild Cognitive Impairment, Parkinson's Disease, Anxiety, and Depression. I am honored to have been able to provide assistance to those who are bedbound and in need of extra support.
Although I may not have a car, I am able to drive and have a valid driver's license. This enables me to easily travel to clients' homes and provide the care they require. My skills are diverse, ranging from simple tasks such as daily supported living, I believe that companionship is just as important as physical care, and I take pride in ensuring that my clients feel valued and supported in every interaction.
Outside of my work, I enjoy various hobbies including walking, dancing, yoga, socializing, and reading. These activities help me maintain a balanced and fulfilled life, which ultimately allows me to bring positivity and joy to my clients. I also have a love for animals and am comfortable caring for pets such as cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, and birds.
My caring nature, friendliness, and helpfulness are the attributes that define me as a carer. Colleague but Betty was accountable to me on client’s case management as I was the teams’ Training and Resource Lead and in charge of quality assurance. Betty’s role supporting survivors of trafficking in our outreach services across London, main responsibility was on Survivors Outcome Support planning, case management, signposting survivors to access specialist recovery support, help to access benefits, housing support applications, building relationships with other agencies and practitioners for a multi- agency and holistic approach. Betty was proactive and engaging in her approach with working with survivors, always with a positive and trauma informed approach.
